It doesn't support the vertical focus or lens shift. It does have an image warping feature that can help in less-than-ideal installations, but this does affect the quality of the image.

The GP500 also features several common and some not so common convenience and quality of life features like Keystone and Corner Fit which digitally warp the image to assist with less than ideal installations as well as a Toslink optical Audio Out Jack that turns off the built-in speaker when headphones or an alternative speaker system is connected as well as Bluetooth functionality which lets it function as a wireless transmitter for music playback. 3D playback is also supported as well.
Subjectively, I found that the GP500 had very accurate grayscale OOTB. I observed a DeltaE value of 2.3 which is less than the amount visible to the naked eye. This is quite impressive. The Dynamic Contrast feature was a great way to bring depth to the nighttime scenes in Life of Pi and the color on display was excellent as well. Avatar looked great as well.
GP500 Black
The GP500 has tabs for opening both on the right and left sides of the shield. It is Pinlock Max Vision ready. It also comes with an e-shield lock to prevent it from opening when riding (or in the event of an accident). These features are useful in less than ideal installations since they allow you to display a flat picture. However, they can reduce image quality. This is an important consideration to be aware of. The GP500 has a fantastic grayscale performance OOTB, and has produced extremely clear and distinct colors.
